PEACHLYFE
PeachLyfe
PeachLyfe was a telehealth platform designed to simplify remote healthcare through connected medical workflows, online consultations, and integrated patient records. The project explored how medical history, prescriptions, lab results, and specialist care could work together within a more seamless and trustworthy digital healthcare experience.
My involvement included healthcare research, competitor analysis, user experience design, and investigating EHR systems, interoperability networks, and healthcare APIs to better understand how patient data could support more informed care journeys.

overview
The idea started with a simple question: How can doctors make better decisions before consultations even begin?
PeachLyfe explored how remote healthcare workflows — from onboarding and medical records to prescriptions and follow-up care — could feel more seamless, accessible, and trustworthy within a unified digital experience.

vision
Making remote healthcare feel more connected.
The project began with a simple but ambitious goal: help patients access specialized healthcare remotely while giving medical teams enough medical context to make informed decisions before consultations even begin. The platform explored how patients could connect with multiple healthcare specialists while centralizing medical history, prescriptions, lab results, and ongoing treatment workflows into a single experience.

Problems
But the deeper we explored the system to build it, the more complex it became.
As the project evolved, the challenge became much larger than designing consultation interfaces. A significant part of the process involved researching how healthcare infrastructure operates within the US medical ecosystem — including HIPAA-sensitive workflows, EHR systems, e-prescriptions, laboratory integrations, patient interoperability, and healthcare APIs.
Problem
Navigating a Complex Healthcare Ecosystem
The US healthcare system consists of disconnected providers, EHR platforms, pharmacy networks, labs, and interoperability layers — each with different standards, workflows, and infrastructure requirements.
Solution
Understanding the US Healthcare Infrastructure

We researched how healthcare data moves across providers, APIs, pharmacies, and lab systems to better understand the technical and operational challenges behind connected telehealth experiences.
Problem
Fragmented Healthcare Systems
Remote healthcare depends on multiple independent systems — including EHRs, pharmacies, laboratories, and telehealth services. Each system operates with different standards, APIs, and data structures, making it difficult to create a seamless care experience.
Solution
Connected Healthcare Ecosystem

We evaluated EHR providers, interoperability networks, and healthcare APIs to understand how patient records, e-prescriptions, laboratory results, allergies, and clinical data could be consolidated into a unified workflow. This research helped define an architecture capable of supporting a more connected and context-rich healthcare experience.
Problem
Lack of Consultation Context
Doctors often entered consultations without enough patient context, forcing them to spend valuable session time gathering medical history and previous records.
Solution
Pre-Consultation Patient Overview

We designed a unified patient dashboard that surfaced medical history, prescriptions, lab results, and care notes before appointments began.
Problem
Disconnected Follow-Up Care
After consultations, patients had no clear way to track prescriptions, test results, or ongoing care plans across multiple services.
Solution
Continuous Care Experience

We explored a connected follow-up system where prescriptions, lab updates, messaging, and care timelines could exist in one place.
Problem
Low Trust in Remote Healthcare
Remote healthcare experiences can feel impersonal and unreliable when communication and medical workflows are fragmented across different tools.
Solution
More Connected Telehealth Journeys

The platform focused on creating a more seamless and trustworthy digital healthcare experience through connected workflows and clearer patient communication.
System Thinking
Turning our research & Complexity into designs
After researching healthcare infrastructure, interoperability networks, and clinical workflows, the challenge became translating that complexity into something patients and providers could actually use. The goal was no longer just connecting systems. It was creating an experience that felt simple despite the

Tried to set Clarity in every state.
The UI was designed to handle real-world data states gracefully — loading skeletons, partial records, and error recovery flows were all first-class citizens. A calm, clinical visual language reinforced trust throughout.

Outcome
More Than a Telehealth Platform
TAt first, the challenge seemed straightforward: help patients connect with specialists remotely. But the deeper we explored the problem, the more we realized that healthcare is shaped by a complex network of records, providers, pharmacies, laboratories, regulations, and disconnected systems. PeachLyfe became an opportunity to understand that complexity and translate it into an experience that felt simple, connected, and trustworthy.
